April 25, 2022 – I was formally awarded a merit scholarship for LLM in Sports Law, at the Nottingham Trent University Scholarship Award ceremony (2021/2022)
March 12, 2020 – I delivered a lecture at the Sports Law Masterclass of Discovery Sports in Lagos State, Nigeria, on the jurisdiction of FIFA’s Players Status Committee (PSC) & Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC), and the competence of civil courts in respect to some football disputes.
August 23, 2019 – I spoke to the law students of the University of Ibadan, during a panel session/ career advancement program tagged “Law: Beyond The Borders“, in honour of Mr. Asishana Bayo Okauru – the DG of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum. The panel session also had Olaoluwa Oluwanifemi Awe, Osiri Ndukwe, Tokunbo Komolafe, and Caleb Adebayo, who also spoke on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property & Technology Law, Entertainment Law, and Energy & Environmental Law respectively during the panel session.
June 2019 – I delivered a lecture as one of the keynote Speakers at the Career Advancement in Law & Leadership Conference of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria, in June 2019.
The conference which held at the International Moot Court Centre, OAU, Ile- Ife, saw over 150 law students from the Law faculty in attendance; as well as representatives from various universities within the Country – such as the University of Lagos, University of Benin, University of Ilorin, University of Jos, etc. I spoke on the topic: “The Cheese, Core Areas & Career Opportunities in the Sports Industry as a Lawyer”.
